Cindy Erkfitz Sirls was born and raised in the midwest. After graduating college in 1981, she moved to California where she currently resides and continues to paint. Cindy's early work consists primarily of watercolors of horses, specifically thoroughbred and standardbred racehorses. Much of her subject matter and inspiration comes from her visits to Kentucky racetracks and surrounding farms. She continues to paint horses, but her most recent work has included depictions of professional football and basketball players as well.
