  • Niatross is a legend. He retired as the fastest standardbred horse in history, winning a total of 37 out of 39 races Trained and driven by co-owner Clint Galbraith, the pair won the Triple Crown of Harness Racing in 1980. The defining moment of Niatross' career is depicted here in a time trial at Lexington, Kentucky's "Red Mile". This pacer beat the world record by an astounding three seconds at "One-forty-nine and one".
